Old
photographs can be restored and new photos can be improved. Here
are just a few examples.
The original
of the family photograph on the right had been folded and kept
in a pocket or wallet.

This old aerial photo measured
11" x 8¾" and required
extensive removal of staining and surface dirt, as well as the replacement
of missing areas. |

| These three images illustrate what can be achieved
by using a computer to alter more recent photographs.
The two images on the left were taken one after another at a
wedding. In the event neither of them really worked, but by combining
the best elements of the two a satisfactory image (far right) was
achieved.
Cheating? Well perhaps, but the result was the image I had originally
been looking for. |
